Hi i'm Sam. I was born in the 80's (Calvin Harris has love for me!) in sunny old England.

I have eclectic tastes in almost everything - especially music and films. I love everything from old silent films with the greats of Chaplin, Keaton and Lloyd and old horror films (back in the day when they were actually somewhat scary) to modern comedy (Kevin Smith) and action films (Bourne Trilogy)... oh and I adore Jack Lemmon.

Music wise, I mostly listen to Metal, Rock and Punk but I do listen to Pop, Dance (Daft Punk, Cascada), RnB (Rihanna, Alicia Keys), Rap, Blues/Jazz (Billie Holliday), Folk (Bob Dylan), County (Johnny Cash) and some Classical. It just depends on my mood.

My Favourite book is 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' by the late great Oscar Wilde. I enjoy my Stephen King books as well and 'The Lord of the Rings' is fantastic.

If I could have a dinner party with any five people from history I would have Oscar Wilde, Lord Byron ("Mad, bad and dangerous to know" - Lady Caroline Lamb), Lady Jane Grey (the nine day Queen), Stephen Fry (who wouldn't want to have dinner with this man) and Bette Davis (amazing actress). This is subject to change however.

In my spare time I make jewellery, just beading at the moment but I am looking to delve into Lampworking which is the art of making beads. Maybe one day I can make a career out of it but right now I will have to stick to the monotonous 9-5.30 office job that I have at the moment.

One of my strangest past times is reading about notorious killers. The criminal mind fascinates me so I read a lot of books and watch of lot of shows on the Crime channels.

I support the West Memphis 3 in being able to have a retrial. At the end of the day, regardless of personal opinion on whether they are innocent and guilty (and they could be guilty) based on the evidence during the case they should never have been found guilty.

I love fan fiction - Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, CSI etc. Mostly het slash but I do like a bit of slash, especially in CSI, I mean Greg/Nick (CSI) and Danny/Flack (CSI:NY) are just so easy to imagine. One day I will write something (maybe it will just be something with my own original characters) but then, I have been saying that for ages. I have an account on FanFiction.net but still haven't written anything.

I will blog about anything and everything. I maybe blog 3 times in a day or 3 times in a month but I will blog.

I like to talk so please say hello. I also love a good friendly debate so if you disagree with anything that I say please say so.
